Chris is one of the founders of Education Reach. He taught English for 19 years, including several years served as an Advisory teacher in Derbyshire and Head of English in Buxton. He specialises in the classroom application of ICT to teaching and learning
Chris is a member of the NATE New Technologies Committee and continues to be influential on the national scene as a speaker and trainer. At present he is a Director of Teachit (UK) Ltd, a company formed as a teachers’ cooperative, dedicated to exploring the educational potential of the Internet.
Chris is known for his infectious enthusiasm and his creative approach to applying the new technologies to the classroom. He has co-written several books, writes and reads poetry in his spare time and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen.
